This engagement session was so beautiful at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine! Roxann and Zachary were so sweet and up to anything when it came to my photo ideas! We started out thinking this would be a sunrise session, however the weather had other plans! It was the middle of August which meant St. Augustine would be busy, so we were planning to avoid the crowds. That morning, a huge storm came through and we had to push the session back to 11am! We spent all morning walking around St. Augustine in the most gorgeous photo spots having a blast together!
St. Augustine Engagement Photos
The Lightner Museum | Florida Wedding Photographer
It’s no secret that St. Augustine is such a stunning city. It has so many different locations that make for the prettiest photos! We walked around the city and went to all of my favorite places! The first location was the Lightner Museum. The Museum is full of Spanish Renaissance architecture and houses beautiful antiques that you can browse inside of the museum!
The next location we went to was the Casa Monica Hotel. If you are in St. Augustine, this is a gorgeous and very aesthetic hotel that is amazing for photos. It was originally built in 1888 and it’s located in the heart of the historic district.
The next two places we adventured to were Flagler College and The Memorial Presbyterian Church. The great thing about St. Augustine is if you’re downtown near these places, it is so walkable! Flagler College is a private liberal arts college that has one of the most stunning college campus’. It has gorgeous courtyards, architecture, and so much history! The last stop was the Memorial Presbyterian Church which was built in 1889. This church is absolutely stunning and a must see if you’re in the area!
